It is embarrassing to fall, especially as an adult. When I was a child I fell often. I was so clumsy that my mother sent me to charm school to learn how to walk with poise and grace. Yet I always felt that all I learned during those summer months was how to fall with class and some form of dignity. Falling can leave you bruised, battered and wounded. Most times when I felI I suffered a physical wound, but often it was my bruised ego that hurt the most.
